Terms of use · version 19 September 2026

The terms, in plain language.

My Life Footprint is the public library of your life. You decide what goes in and what shows. The terms exist to make that clear for both sides.

What it is

The service gives you a private space (the library) where you upload photos, audio, video and text, and a public footprint (the page /u/name) that shows only what you have switched on. The service is operated by Diversity Media, Athens, Greece, and is in beta.

Your content

What you upload stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store it, compress it and display it on your footprint for as long as you keep it switched on. When you switch it off, it stops being public. When you delete it, it is deleted from our servers. You can delete your whole account by emailing christou@diversitymedia.gr and your data is removed within 30 days.

You upload only what you have the right to show. If other people appear in a photo, you are responsible for switching them on. Never switch on minors in a way that identifies them. Do not upload content that is illegal, abusive or belongs to others.

Space

Each account has 10 GB per year. Photos are compressed on your device before upload. The maximum file size is 200 MB.

The barometer

Each footprint has a public score that measures passes, depth and returning visitors, with forgetting. Your own visits do not count. There are no likes and no comments.

Advertising and revenue

Public footprints will carry advertising served through programmatic networks. When this is switched on, a share of the revenue generated by your footprint will be paid to you, under terms that will be announced explicitly and will require separate acceptance and identity verification for payouts. Until then there is no financial obligation on either side.

Reports and removal

If something in a footprint concerns you and should not be there, email christou@diversitymedia.gr with the link. We review every report and remove anything that breaches these terms or the law.

Beta

The service may change, pause or lose data through error. Keep copies of your originals. We are not liable for indirect damages. Greek law applies; the courts of Athens have jurisdiction.
